The Astrophysics Research Knowledgebase (ARK) provides a web interface to
submit and store information in a database. Registration is required to
access the service, which provides user authentication and group-based
authorization. Users have permission to submit and/or modify the ARK
database based on granular group- and user-specific settings.
ARK forms the basis for the Remote Proposal System
(RPS). The combination allows investigators to view and modify their
proposal information after they submit their proposals (prior to the
submission deadline) and upload any associated files that are needed
to fulfill electronic proposal submission.
